Description
Recently, I just got a small tub of white air drying clay from a family member, and I was wondering what to make with it. And there was one thing that I always wanted to make.
Most people won't know who this character is, but this is suppose to be "Mr. Bumpy", a character from the stop motion animated cartoon "Bump in the Night."
The most fragile parts were the fingers, teeth and toes (the toes kept breaking off so I had to attach a base so he can stand up right without topping over or breaking the feet.)
It took 2 days for the air drying clay to completely dry out, then I coated the figure with PVA glue and water to seal it. After the glue coating dried I painted it with a few layers of acrylic paint.
Then after finishing the details... BOOM! It's Mr. Bumpy in the flesh. This is the best thing I ever made, and it took me half a tub of clay. I am so glad the way it turned out.
